Kief
Kief is a fine, powdery substance made up of the trichomes, or resin glands, of cannabis flowers. Trichomes are the small, crystal-like structures that coat the surface of the plant and contain a high concentration of cannabinoids (such as THC and CBD) and terpenes, which give cannabis its potency and distinctive aroma.
Kief is collected through a sieve or by using a multi-chamber grinder that separates it from the plant material. It is highly potent due to its concentrated cannabinoid content and can be used in various ways, including:
Uses
Sprinkling on top of flower for enhanced potency when smoking.
Pressing into hash for a compact and smokeable form.
Infusing into edibles for making potent cannabis recipes.
Vaping or dabbing in its raw form.
Due to its high concentration of active compounds, kief should be used in moderation, especially by those new to cannabis.
